There are two coves to this lovely place, safe bathing for the whole family. With some fine places to eat with an excellent variety of locally caught sea food and fine wine. Only 6 miles from Kingsbridge. 10 miles away from Harleston Manor. This shoot was taken at 19.30pm approx 1 hour before sunset. www.hikingequipmentsite.com This was the sixth and last day hiking trip myself and my partner Anne undertook on a Holiday Fellowship (HF) Holidays hiking holiday in St Ives Cornwall, England in May 2010. The route was circular around the Lizard coastline from Lizard Green via Poltesco, Carleon, Cadgwith, Polpeor and Kynance Cove. The distance was 11.25 miles with a total ascent of 1200 feet. This was the longest day of hiking during the wee with just enough time to eat an ice cream on Lizard Green at the end.
