Breathtaking riverside accommodation

Scenic… serene… Stratheck!

Nestled between Benmore and Loch Eck, Stratheck Holiday Park is set in a stunning mountainside location, just a short distance from Dunoon, on the Cowal Peninsula within the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park. Encircled by the tranquil River Eachaig on one side, and sheltered by woodland and hill, it’s an idyllic escape from everyday life.

It’s a peaceful walker’s and angler’s paradise. But if you’re seeking a little more action, pop 10 minutes down the road to Hunters Quay Holiday Village to enjoy a cracking selection of leisure facilities and activities. It’s the park with the best of both worlds!

Superb stay

Absolutely fantastic stay!! We stayed for a week in mid September.
The pod we were in (no 5) was so well set up for us. Great cooking facilities (if you wanted to), the bed was comfortable, the hot tub was amazing with the dark sky, fresh air and the atmosphere of being nestled in the hills.
A special mention to the superb staff of Nicole, Alan and Claire.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Fabulous!!

Relaxing family getaway

We stayed in a Forest Pod as a family of 4 with our dog for 7 nights. Our stay was so relaxing, the park is very quiet and has the most beautiful scenery. The hot tub was a lovely touch and added to the relaxing nature of the break. The staff are really friendly and very helpful suggesting days out and walks nearby. I think the only thing missing is a small shop for snacks etc and maybe a more family centred bar onsite. We had such a wonderful break and would love to return if lived closer.

Home Away from Home

This place has been my beautiful haven after my mum passed away before we were supposed to come away! My partner dragged me here and I am so glad he did. The park is serene. The views are breathtaking. The staff are like family, we are 100% coming back. If only for a pint with Alan and Claire and Hadock! Special thanks goes to Colette and team for my beautiful card and flowers when I arrived and the kindness shown from start to finish. Please go to this park, you will not regret it. Don’t want to go home!!
